Changelog: A new logo appears
We are working on behind-the-scenes improvements that are going to make it so much easier to address long-standing user requests. But first... we're changing our look.
Hello, folks! It's been awhile since you've heard from us. We are working on behind-the-scenes improvements that are going to make it so much easier for us to deliver new site features, fix bugs, and address long-standing user requests. We've added new team members, made big plans, and now we're working hard to make Unvale even MORE amazing. But first... we're changing our look.
Late last year, we decided that we wanted a logo that matched our community's fun, silliness, and warmth. So, we started working on a rebrand! I'm happy to share that, as of RIGHT NOW, the new logo is live on the Unvale platform (https://unvale.io), and we're working on updating it across all our social media and other spots on the internet! The old V logo will forever live in our hearts, but this new logo is, we feel, a much better representation of our community and our platform. To CELEBRATE this fun change, we've got a few additional surprises!
- Unvale merch store! That's right, there is now a place on the internet where you can buy an Unvale shirt, hoodie, water bottle, or even a baby onesie. We've had so many people ask for a way to rep Unvale in the real world, so I hope this shop does the trick! - Name our logo! Look into the captivating, oval eyes of our new four-pointed star friend and ask yourself... "who are you?" – then, take that name and submit it into our name submission form! We are partnering with our community to give our new logo a name to remember! Y'all will submit name ideas, the Unvale team will choose our top 5 (and give credit to those who submitted the chosen names), then we will ALL vote on the winning name! - Some small site changes! OK, this actually has nothing to do with our rebrand, but I know many of y'all will be happy to hear about these. First off, if you haven't already noticed, we have extended the character limit for profile bios, so now you can write WAY more about yourself or your friends or your creations. Secondly, we have FINALLY fixed the bug where you can't update an OC page description if you initially save it with no text. Hooray!
