In our last update, I shared that a cool new feature was coming; one that would change the way we use the site, allow you to collaborate more easily, and connect you with new followers. Well, folks, that new feature is HERE!
Hello, everyone! In our last staff update, I shared that a cool new feature was coming; one that would change the way we use the site, allow you to collaborate more easily, connect you with new followers, and a ton of other stuff. Well, folks, that new feature is HERE! Read on to learn more about Unvale’s new Community page! https://unvale.io/community
- New Community page - In our site’s main navigation, you’ll notice a new page called “Community.” Moving forward, this is where we’re going to put a ton of cool new community features for everyone. But we do have a couple features on there already I think you’ll enjoy!
- New Welcome feed - One of the best things about Unvale is how kind and welcoming our community members are, so we wanted to take this to a new level by letting y’all know about new users on the platform! Once a new user adds a profile picture, they’ll be added to our new Welcome Feed on the Community page. If you spot someone cool, don’t hesitate to leave a profile comment and welcome them to our site!
- Latest Comments - The Community page also includes a listing of the latest site comments, so you can see all the activity currently happening on Unvale. Not only is this a great way to jump into cool conversations on the site, but you’ll also be able to:
- Introduce yourself to the community with a comment on your own profile
- Make new connections by following folks directly from the Community page
- Let folks know you’ve added new art or writing to an old OC page
- Share that the next chapter of your world’s story is now live
- Remind folks that your art contest ends in a few days
- and so, so much more!
To celebrate this release, we’re throwing a mini “Introduce your OC” party! Finally, there’s a way for us to see those OCs that faded from the main Explore page so long ago. To participate, just go find an old OC that you love, leave a comment on their page, and watch them appear on the new Community page! Don’t forget to favorite others’ OCs who are doing the same!
As always, this is just “version 1” of the new page, but we are really excited for it. I can’t wait to see what cool stuff y’all come up with and how this new page changes our site. As always, we are forever open to feedback. Let me know your thoughts!
