Hello, everyone! We've got an exciting release for you on the website today, and it's TAGGING! That's right, you now have another way to (respectfully) notification bomb your friendos.
Hello, everyone! We've got an exciting release for you on the website today, and it's TAGGING! That's right, you now have another way to (respectfully) notification bomb your friendos. Here's how it works!
- @Tagging - When you type @ and someone's username now, a little dropdown will appear and allow you to select their username. Once selected, it'll automatically apply the correct markdown for you to link to their profile! Tagging works in profile bios, posts, and comments for now.
- Notifications - BEYOND just a link to their profile, tagging someone will also send a notification! So if you really want your BFF to see the fan art you posted, use a tag.
- App soon - Hold tight, app users! While you'll now receive notifications for tagging in the app, you won't be able to tag folks yourself for a little longer. We need a bit more testing to make sure it doesn't implode on the app, then it'll be in your hands!
