About Our Partner: Charo Lyn

Charo Lyn is a Brazilian artist and writer known for her videos about character creation. Her content is focused on providing daily ideas and prompts, extending from character design elements, to relationship dynamics, and many other aspects of the creation process.
Charo knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with art, her passion for drawing being present since her early childhood. Getting inspired by her older brother, Nicolas, who taught himself how to draw, Charo decided to follow in his footsteps and also started experimenting with art. At the age of 14, she dabbled with the world of digital art, and realized that that was it, that’s what she wanted to do with her life.
Another passion of hers is creating stories. Differently from drawing, Charo says she didn’t get to choose to pursue story creation, it was an inevitability. Starting off with what others assumed were “imaginary friends”, then evolving to more tangible narratives and characters when she learned how to draw (precariously).
Charo has many plans for the future, which were all facilitated by the growth of her channel. In the realm of content creation, she’s planning to diversify her content, also producing long-form videos and livestreams. But the part that she’s the most excited, are her writing/art projects. She says it’s too early to give details, but that she has a game and a comic in the works, and that she can’t wait to share them with the community.
