8 Signs You've Outgrown a Notes App for Your OCs
Still tracking your OCs in a notes app? Here are the signs that it's holding your cast back, and what to do about it.
A Notes app is a great place to start building your OCs. You can jot down a name, a few traits, or maybe a color palette. All on the go. It's a perfectly respectable method to get your creative ideas somewhere for later.
But then your cast grows, and your favorite OC's lore becomes more complicated than your own family history. The same app that used to feel simple starts to slow down your creative process. Here's how to tell you've hit that point.
1. You Ctrl+F Too Often
Eye color. Height. Hometown. Whether they have a partner. You wrote it down once, and now you're sifting through the archives as if they belong to someone else.
