Let’s light up the night sky with lanterns! 🏮

Join us for UnVale’s summer Lantern Festival!

There was a beach episode, now we’re hitting up the booths and playing with fun, creative lanterns! We invite you and your OCs to come out with your coolest looking lanterns to show off. The origins of lantern festivals and sky lanterns in general can be traced back to ancient China (206 BC – 220 AD), but are made and used all over the world by many different cultures for many different reasons! For us? It’s to show off our creativity!

Here’s how you can participate!

• Create a piece (illustration, writing, comic) that features your OC(s) attending a lantern festival. The lantern can be designed however you want!
  • If you’re making an illustration and want to be a part of the collaborative video, be sure to upload your illustration with a TRANSPARENT background! Full bodied illustrations not required, but highly recommended!
• Once you’ve completed your work, upload it to your OC page with the hashtag #UVLanternFest!

Entries for the collaborative video will close on August 19th and the reveal will be on August 23rd! Any submissions posted after will unfortunately not be included but are still free to participate in the event using the hashtag!

Once you’ve followed all of these steps, you’re done and ready to have your lantern soar the skies with everyone else!
